Baru-baru ini, NVIDIA menambah varian VGA Ampere Laptop dengan memperkenalkan GPU Laptop RTX 3050 Ti. GPU Laptop RTX 3050 Ti didasarkan pada chip GA107 Ampere dan dilengkapi 2.560 CUDA core, 20 ray tracing core, dan 80 tensor core.
Dengan diperkenalkannya GPU Ampere Laptop, NVIDIA telah mengambil pendekatan berbeda untuk menyampaikan kemampuan daya dan kinerja chip ini. GPU Ampere Laptop tidak perlu secara eksplisit menunjukkan branding Max-Q, tetapi OEM bebas menentukan TGP GPU dan fitur Max-Q berikutnya. Menurut NVIDIA, fitur Max-Q generasi ketiga termasuk Dynamic Boost 2.0, WhisperMode 2.0, Resizable BAR, dan NVIDIA DLSS.
